I graduated Ole Miss in May of 2009 with a Bachelors of Arts in Secondary Education. I am fully licensed and can teach English and Social Studies.

Teaching is my passion. This upcoming fall, I will begin my 6th year of teaching. I taught 5th & 6th grade ELA for three years at a private school. Prior to this, I worked at an independent school with middle school grades.

I was nominated by my students & parents and won "Teacher of the Week" award through News Channel 3. In addition, my students competed against other schools in our district in an essay contest, "Fight Against Crime", where we won first place! We were interviewed by News Channel 3 and had lunch with Police Director, Tony Armstrong, and his assistant, Mr. Anthony Berryhill.

I am an outgoing person who constantly has a smile on my face. I love to meet new people and to inspire everyone I meet. I am blessed to have my husband, Alan, whom I met in 2009. In 2013, our beautiful daughter, Reese, was born. She is now 4 years old and a complete ball of energy! She is getting ready to start JK at St. Agnes in Memphis, TN.

Becoming a teacher has been my dream for a very long time. I love my students and I am very passionate about the time they spend in my classroom. I focus on the needs of each student and hope to teach them something new every day!
