About the Teacher
Education and Experience:
Hello, my name is Alex Boyles. This is my first year teaching at DCMS. I graduated from Senatobia High School in 2011. After high school, I attended Northwest Mississippi Community College and then the University of Memphis receiving my bachelor’s degree in English. I found my passion in teaching while working with students in a 10th Grade English classroom at Whitehaven High School as a success coach for the non-profit organization Peer Power. I will always strive to teach my students more than just English and Language Arts every day in my classroom. I hope to teach them valuable life skills and how to be successful in school and outside of school in social settings.
