About the Counselor

Education

I graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Memphis with my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology in 2006. In 2008, I graduated again from the U of M with my Masters of Science with a concentration in counseling.

Experience

I have been a school counselor at DeSoto Central Middle School since 2008. I became a National Board Certified Counselor in 2008 and a National Board Certified School Counselor in 2012. In 2017, I became an ASCA School Counseling Legal and Ethical Specialist and an ASCA Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Specialist in 2021.

I live in Nesbit with my husband, Martin, and our son, Lucas. We love to travel and are always planning our next trip. I enjoy gardening, camping, baking, and listening to ALL kinds of music. Also, I love coffee and dachshunds!
