I graduated with a Masters in Elementary Education from Belhaven University in 2009.

In 1984 I graduated from Delta State University with a Bachelors degree in Marketing and Advertising. I believe in being a life long learner.

This is my 16th year teaching in Desoto County.  Prior to Sixth grade, I taught  fifth grade  for 12 years and I was an assistant in kindergarten while obtaining my masters.  It has always been a joy and privilege to be able to teach and watch young ladies and gentlemen grow into awesome adults.  I am very excited to be part of the DCMS team.

My husband, Jerry and I have been married for the past 36 years.  We are blessed with two children, Christi who will be a 2nd grade teacher in Texas and our son Sam who is  a recent graduate from  Mississippi State University.  We are active members of Desoto Hills Baptist Church.

I am truly living my dream each day that God allows me to enter the classroom.  It is my prayer to prepare your children for a lifetime of learning and a love of science and history.
