Education & Experience:
Hello! My name is Marguerite Howard and I am thrilled to be your child's 6th grade Science & Social Studies teacher. I received a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and a Master's degree in Business Administration, both from Jackson State University. I then decided to change my career path after developing a passion for teaching. I attended the University of Mississippi, where I obtained my teaching certification. I have taught in middle school for 5 years, but this will be my first at Desoto Central Middle.
Message to Parents:
As a teacher, I want my students to be inspired to enjoy learning. I am elated to be teaching both Science and Social Studies since it affords students with the opportunity to explore, analyze, and reflect upon the world around them.
