Hello, My name is Samantha Kruger! This is my 5th year teaching 8th grade math at DeSoto Central Middle School. I graduated from the University of Mississippi with a degree in Elementary Education and concentrations in mathematics and history. I am a new mom to baby girl who joined our family in July 2022. I love the outdoors, spending time with family and friends, game nights and trying new things. I have always had a passion for children and knew from an early age I wanted to work with children. I believe that all students deserve to come to school not only to learn academics but to be the best that they can be for the future. I want to make sure that all my students feel heard, cared for and loved and that they are able to be successful in whatever they want to do in life. 

I am very excited for this school year and can't wait to meet all of my new students!
