Bio I'm originally from Little Rock, Arkansas, but I now reside in Olive Branch, MS. I started as a personal care assistant several years ago. During the 17-18 school year, I was a resource assistant. I wear many hats, which include being a wife and mother to five wonderful children. Growing up I knew I always wanted to teach, but I didn't know exactly what subject or age group. Working with and around children with special needs can sometimes be a challenge, but the breakthrough moments are well worth it. I want my students to know that just because learning is a bit of a struggle, does not make it impossible. I love what I do, and I am excited to begin my fifth year as an inclusion teacher here at DCMS. |
