Welcome to Our Class!
I am so excited to be your child's teacher this year! This year will be a little different for us all, but the goal is still the same, and that is to make sure your child receives the best education possible. Whether your child is virtual or brick and mortar, they will be given the same resources. I will also have office hours where you and/or your child will be able to reach me regarding any questions you may have. Schoology will be utilized heavily this school year, so please become familiar with it.
to visit you child's general education teacher's website and follow the
link to their Schoology for class specific information. Also, make sure
you are signed up for their Remind. Please do not hesitate to email me
with any questions or concerns you may have.
Let's continue to stay positive throughout this 20-21 school year!

I'm originally from Little Rock, Arkansas, but I now reside in Senatobia, MS. I started as a personal care assistant several years ago. During the 17-18 school year, I was a resource assistant. I wear many hats, which include being a wife and mother to five wonderful children. Growing up I knew I always wanted to teach, but I didn't know exactly what subject or age group. Working with and around children with special needs can sometimes be a challenge, but the breakthrough moments are well worth it. I want my students to know that just because learning is a bit of a struggle, does not make it impossible. I love what I do, and I am excited to begin my third year as an inclusion teacher here at DCMS.
